About Me
My name is Timothy Czerniejewski and I am currently a Senior at Durham School of the Arts high school. I have been accepted and enrolled to NC State University. My interest in becoming a game designer sprouts from my love for playing video games. I actively and am almost always playing video games on my PC in my spare time nowadays, but before I got into computer gaming, I enjoyed playing on my Game Boy Advance playing Pokemon and a variety of Mario games. This was probably my first gaming experience and it influenced my future gaming habits I have today. After my handheld phase, I looked towards consoles such as the PlayStation 2 to play more complex games. After hours of Final Fantasy and Ratchet and Clank, I moved towards computers for my entertainment and gaming desires. My dad built a desktop for me and I got into the MMO scene with World of Warcraft for a few years. Eventually, the subscription fee deterred me and I went back to 7th generation consoles (PlayStation 3 and XBox 360) to play First Person Shooters like Halo 3 and Call of Duty. Afterwards the introduction of Steam into my life has made me a hardcore PC gamer and I rarely use my consoles anymore. I have clocked a total of about 4000-5000 hours on all of my Steam games since I started using it around 2010-11. After a decade of gaming, I want to be able to create the sensation you have when you complete a game or accomplish something incredible inside of a game. This is why I wanted to become a Game Designer so I can share that sensation to the millions of people who game today.
